Description
The Alocasia Dragon Scale, also known as Alocasia Baginda, is a rare type of Alocasia. It’s known for its striking arrow-shaped foliage, which is similar to a Dragon’s skin. The Alocasia Dragon Scale’s foliage has a silvery green colour, that’s highlighted by the dark green veins. These colour contrasts in combination with the shape of its veins are very similar to dragon scales.
Place the Alocasia Dragon Scale in a light spot, in filtered sunlight. Make sure the potting soil is always mildly moist, but not wet. It’s best to water the plant regularly, and to give small amounts of water each time. Just enough to moisten the potting soil. We recommend placing a layer of hydro granules at the bottom of the pot, so it won’t matter if you accidentally overwater it. This is the best way of preventing root rot. It’s best to water the plant regularly, and to give small amounts of water each time. Just enough to moisten the potting soil. We also recommend regularly misting around the leaves to maintain a high humidity.
