Description
The Calathea Fusion White is a rare Calathea variety. There’s only a few variegated Calathea varieties, making the Fusion White quite special. Calatheas are native to South America’s tropical forests. They grow in the semi shade, in between larger plants and trees. Calatheas therefore prefer to be placed in a spot with filtered sunlight, in the middle of the room. This beautiful plant will fold its leaves in the evening, and open them up again in the morning.
Place the Calathea in a spot with filtered sunlight. Regularly give the plant small quantities of water, to keep the potting soil moist at all times. Be careful not to give a large amount of water in one go, as excess water can cause damage to the plant’s roots. Make sure not to place the Fusion White near the heating, as the humidity is way too low here. Being a plant of tropical origin, the Calathea requires high humidity.
