Description
The Philodendron Verrucosum is a rare Philodendron with a very unique look. Its velvety leaves are decorated with bright veins that appear to have a golden glow. This glow is especially visible when the plant is in a light spot. The bottom of the Philodendron Verrucosum leaves is coloured red, and its equally red stems have tiny hairs on them. In short, this Philodendron is a true eyecatcher. As if these dashing looks weren’t enough reason to add the Verrucosum to your plant collection, the plant is also an air purifier!
While most rare plants require quite some attention, the Philodendron Verrucosum is actually pretty easy-going. It should be placed in the semi shade. Make sure the potting soil is always mildly moist, by regularly giving the plant small amounts of water. Never give a large amount of water in one go.
